Interview with Per Limdal, Stena Fastigheter
Per Limdal is a Property Manager at Stena Fastigheter in Gothenburg. He is responsible for around 3,000 tenancies across the city. The company has just over 9,000 apartments and around 230,000 square metres of commercial space. Per has ample experience of property management and has been working for Stena Fastigheter since 2005.
Their partnership with us here at Aimo Park goes back many years and was expanded in 2021 when Stena Fastigheter took the decision to have a partner streamline, modernise and digitise their parking operations. All areas are now covered, with approximately 6,000 parking spaces in both multi-storey and outdoor car parks. Residents can take out parking subscriptions directly from us, and our app is accepted at all visitor parking spaces.
We benefit hugely from Aimo Parks experience, which allows us to identify focus areas and helps us to solve problems in a long-term and sustainable way.
How important is parking to your business?
— Parking is an important part of everyday life for many of our residents, and so it’s important that everything about parking works well. We’re seeing a shift towards fewer parking spots in residential areas in favour of other mobility solutions that are more sustainable. We used to have a traditional parking format where each tenant had their own designated space but usage was low. Now we more often go for what we call ‘flexible parking’, which means all residents have the option to buy a parking permit and then they can park where they want. But of course, we need to make sure we’re striking a balance between supply and demand.”
How has Aimo Park been able to help you with this?
— You are a huge operator and offer lots of options through your app, such as statistics that we can use. We also benefit hugely from all your experience, which allows us to identify focus areas and helps us to solve problems in a long-term and sustainable way.
