Interview with Jessica Sjöberg Lundqvist, Östersundshem
Jessica Sjöberg Lundqvist is the Customer Service Manager at municipal housing company Östersundshem. This is the largest property owner in the Östersund region with around 4,000 homes and 300 offices and store houses.
Jessica has worked for the company since 2014 and has held a number of different roles. She’s been at their customer service department since 2020.
— It might sound a bit clichéd, but working with people is really great. Home is one of the most important pillars in our lives – and a good home is essential to a good life. And in public housing, we also have a duty to allocate tenancies to those who need them the most. This means we have a broader target group than other housing companies, and the chance to help vulnerable people. That’s a great feeling, says Jessica.
We have a good dialogue with Aimo Park and we are constantly working to develop our partnership in order to best serve our customers.
The customer service department is at the heart of Östersundshem. They are the first point of contact for tenants who ring up and they look after the rental of storage rooms and apartments. The department used to handle parking as well, but in 2018 they entered into a partnership with Aimo Park who now take care of everything parking related, from monitoring and the rental of spaces to customer service.
How important is parking to your business?
— Parking is very important for our tenants, so it is of great significance. As a company, it is very important to us that our tenants receive a professional service from our parking company as this reflects back on us as a brand, too. We have a good dialogue with Aimo Park and we are constantly working to develop our partnership in order to best serve our customers.
