Aimo Charge
Frequently asked questions about Aimo Charge
- Where can I see the current kW price?
-
Under the taxi tab located on the site in the Aimo app.
- Why is my car charging so slowly?
-
This may be because many people are charging at the same time and the charging boxes reduce the power to prevent the main fuse from blowing. The speed of charging may also depend on the type of car you have and what charging power the car can accept. The majority of plug-in hybrids can only accept a maximum of 1-phase 16A (3.7kW) while most electric cars can accept a maximum of 3-phase 16A (11kW).
- What do the colors on the charging boxes mean?
-
Green = Ready to charge.
Blue = Charging in progress.
Red = Something is wrong! Remove the charging cable if it is plugged in and test again
No color at all = The charging box is without power. Report a fault with the charging box. - What information is needed when reporting an error?

- What is meant by a public charging station?
-
A public charging station is accessible to the public, meaning that anyone with an electric car can charge there.
- What is meant by fast charger?
-
A fast charger supplies the car with direct current instead of alternating current, which allows charging at a much higher power than a regular charging box. This type of charger is public and is mainly found at fast food restaurants and gas stations. The power is usually anywhere from 50kW-300kW.
